Segrid was born at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, where her father was stationed in the Army, and later raised in the small town of Lakeland, Georgia. From a young age, she learned the value of hard work by assisting with the family farm, which included various crops and livestock, and also helping run their family corner store. Segrid attributes her love for people and her spirit of helpfulness to her parents.
With over 30 years of experience in management, development, accounting, and finance, Segrid has a proven track record of achievement and innovation. She is known for her outstanding work ethic, commitment, and loyalty. Segrid holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Crime Scene Investigation and Forensics. While she has a keen interest in solving crimes, her true passion lies in helping both humans and animals.
Segrid and her husband, retired USAF CMSGT Kelvin Turner, are proud parents of five ambitious young adults and grandparents to two. She finds tranquility in gardening, caring for her houseplants, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and cuddling with her beloved pets, Cookie and Bo.
