Our Environmental Education Program is designed to expose children to careers in conservation by incorporating sustainability and environmental science into their school curriculum. With the slogan "Nurturing young minds to grow into planet warriors through conservation and sustainability," this program aims to foster a deep appreciation for the natural world and empower children to take active roles in protecting our planet. In addition to year-round curriculum integration, we also offer an annual summer camp program that provides immersive, hands-on experiences in nature.
Program Overview
School Curriculum Integration: The Environmental Education Program works directly with schools to incorporate conservation and sustainability topics into the existing curriculum. The Greening Youth Foundation’s (GYF) mission is to engage under-represented youth and young adults while connecting them to the outdoors and careers in conservation. GYF’s cultural-based environmental education programming engages children from local communities and exposes them to healthy lifestyle choices in order to create an overall healthy community.
