Tami Cousin
Project Manager
Tami was born and raised in Decatur, Ga. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Auburn University. While in college, Tami embarked on a study abroad journey to Cusco, Peru to study Water resource Management & Sustainability, which sparked her passion for Environmental Education. During her time in Peru, Tami learned about Peruvian culture and education, collaborated with local community members to improve environmental issues, and brought global awareness to mercury consumption in Peruvian communities. Tami has a passion for teaching and inspiring students to be stewards of the earth.
After graduation from Auburn, Tami accepted a job with UGA Extension as an Agricultural and Natural Resources Educator. It was there that Tami discovered her interest in community outreach and diversity within the field. Tami currently serves as a Project Manager with the Greening Youth Foundation. In her spare time, you will find her shopping, traveling, or watching a good TV series on Netflix.
