Victory Osigwe has worked as a social media manager and marketing strategist at a technology company and a news outlet over the past two years, carrying a wealth of knowledge about online processes for brand publicity and social media engagement. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Anambra State, Nigeria, where she majored in Political Science with a minor in International Relations. Born and raised in Aba, Abia State, Nigeria, she discovered her voice at a young age, delivering her first public speaking session to a group of senior secondary students at 16.
Victory is a passionate advocate for youth well-being, particularly in mental health, emotional management, and personal well-being. She connects with others through storytelling and poetry, believing in the transformative power of sharing personal narratives to inspire and uplift. Additionally, Victory has a passion for writing fiction and experience educating children, which demonstrates her dedication to youth empowerment. She believes that even life’s most challenging moments hold the potential for creativity and growth, often saying, “Your worst days could inspire your best work”.
The Greening Youth Foundation’s (GYF) mission is to engage under-represented youth and young adults while connecting them to the outdoors and careers in conservation. GYF’s cultural-based environmental education programming engages children from local communities and exposes them to healthy lifestyle choices in order to create an overall healthy community.
