Job Title: Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and lead the successful execution of a variety of projects across different domains.

Job Summary:
As a Project Manager at Greening Youth Foundation Africa, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project resources, and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Initiation: Define project scope, objectives, and key deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Identify and allocate necessary resources.
Project Execution: Lead project teams and ensure adherence to project plans.
Monitor and control project progress, including scope, schedule, and budget.
Implement project changes and interventions to achieve project goals.
Stakeholder Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and external partners.
Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies.
Proactively address and resolve project-related challenges.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards.
Conduct quality reviews and audits, as necessary.

Resource Management:
Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
Optimise resource allocation to achieve project objectives.

Budget Control:
Monitor project financials and ensure adherence to budget.
Track expenses, manage variances, and report on financial performance.

Project Closure:
Conduct project post-mortems and evaluate project outcomes.
Archive project documentation and prepare final reports.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (master's degree preferred).
Proven experience as a Project Manager in successfully delivering projects.
Strong project management skills and familiarity with project management software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Leadership and team management capabilities.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
PMP or other relevant certifications (optional).
