Ever wanted to go camping some place other than the back yard but not too far from home? This September, Greening Youth Foundation and Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park will be hosting the annual Legacy Campout Experience! Here’s everything you need to know…
On October 29th & 30th, 2021, Greening Youth Foundation and National Park Service will virtually celebrate the 11th anniversary of the Legacy Campout and the 40thanniversary of the establishment of Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park. Special guest speakers, inspiring celebrities and fun outdoor activities will be virtually presented, while preserving the rich history and values of African American resilience. Save these dates, October 29-30, 2021, as we virtually commemorate these two historic milestones, while “camping-in-place.”
