Tiffany Madison- HBCUI Former Intern- Selma to Montgomery Sites, Urban Conservation Training Institute- Manager
Tiffany Madison is an Alabama State University graduate that hales from Florida. Tiffany interned under HBCUI for a few seasons(2016-2018)while in school in Alabama. Her love for nature allowed her to research the varies species of plants on the Selma to Montgomery Trail and gained a greater appreciation for the environment especially at Historic sites. After completing her internship, Tiffany accepted a position as the Urban Conservation Training Institute as a site Manager. This role allows to Tiffany to teach young adults the importance of reducing one's Carbon Footprint, Sustainability and Carbon Omission. Tiffany also teaches classes on community gardening, invites the neighborhood to enjoy fresh eggs from the 3.5-acre farm, all while building soft skills with the interns. Her new position at UCTI has allowed her to teach new generations on the importance of Earth Day through building stewardship through diverse youth.
