Kennedy is a native of Aurora, North Carolina, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the illustrious HBCU Fayetteville State University. His desire grew as an educator to help advance the dreams and goals of scholars especially underrepresented youth and teens. Kennedy has worked with youth in various capacities as a school teacher, basketball camp instructor, ABA therapist, and mentorship programs.
He has traveled several places around the world including: South Africa, Japan, Costa Rica, China, and Finland for educational exchange functions. He resides in Atlanta and enjoys community involvement with his non-profit For the Grateful and staying active in the adult basketball leagues in metro Atlanta.
