School: Florida A&M University Major: Landscape Design Site: Minute Man National Historic Site
My name is Finola Perry and I was born and raised in Miami, FL. I graduated from FAMU with my B.S in Landscape Design then attended Morgan State in Baltimore, MD where I earned my Masters in Landscape Architecture. Some of my hobbies include painting, drawing, wood making and even gardening. I joined Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated where I affiliated myself with youth activities, supporting local chapters with fundraising events, cabarets, and community outreach programs.
What I look forward to learn and experience from this HBCUI program at Minute Man National Historic Park would be to gain better knowledge out in the field working with other interns who have the same drive and passion for the environment and the landscape. Since my position would be a landscape ecology resource assistant, I would hope to gain more insight on the works of becoming a landscape architect in the future.
